I truly believe that "Your Health is Your Wealth" and with health comes happiness. Before I chose to pursue the career in fitness I now hold, my passion stemmed from helping others. My assertion that every individual is capable of changing their body and their life through healthy habit implementation, coupled with a fascination of fitness and enthusiasm for wellness led me to pursue a degree in Health Promotion. Despite never being a star athlete, my years in college introducted me to the wonderful world of Group Fitness and I found my niche through which I could help others change their lives. I became interested in the fitness industry when I started to realize that exercise could serve as my stress-reliver, mood-booster, energy-provider, and so much more. Discovering that routine physical activity improved all facets of my life - and that it could be fun! - was a revelation that changed my life. As I turned my life towards health and happiness, I knew that my calling was to inspire and motivate others to do the same.

My aim is to act as a resource providing experience with and knowledge of health, wellness, nutrition, and fitness with as many clients and Group Fitness participants as possible. I understand the pull of habitual unhealthy behaviors - I also know first hand the improvements that occur when healthy changes are implemented and those harmful practices are slowly replaced. I have found health and happiness through fitness, and hope to guide others to find the same, all while enjoying the ride! 

I am interested in the fitness industry because I am constantly in awe of the human body's capabilities. The multitude of stresses we put ourselves under, the unhealthy foods we give our bodies as fuel, and the pattern of inactivity we find it so easy to fall victim to - and we wonder why chronic diseases are rampant! It is absolutely amazing how the body can adapt to the demands we place on it day after day, and how with exercise, so many of our other struggles are minimized.

My current fitness goals include successfully integrating the use of TRX Suspension Trainers in my client's workouts and personal fitness routine, cycling long-distance along the coast of Italy, and mastering the freestanding handstand once and for all.
