Yoga has always been one of my true passions. I started doing yoga when I was 13, and finally got my certification to teach yoga when I was 21. Upon graduating from College in 2009 at the age of 20, I took on a management role at Abercrombie and Fitch to kick off my customer service career. I quickly climbed the ladder of positions within the company until I was the Store Manager of the one of the highest volume Abercrombie and Fitch chain stores in the world. After over two years with A&F, I left the company to pursue my passion towards health, fitness, and helping other people by sharing my love of yoga at CrossFit Hoboken and American Yoga Academy. I started off as a yoga instructor and quickly fell in love with CrossFit and became the manager. I got my CrossFit Level 1 and Strongman certification. CrossFit has been one of the most rewarding things in my life. Mentally, I have learned to push myself further that imagined, even when things are tough. I have learned to work with other people in a competitive fashion, but even more importantly, in a supportive nature. The camaraderie and the family-community vibe of a CrossFit gym and a Yoga studio are two of the most rewarding places to work.

I met my fiance, the owner of CrossFit Hoboken when I started working at CFH. Together, Craig and I opened a second CrossFit location and Indigo Yoga. We then combined our passion of yoga and CrossFit with our passion for travel. We have put together several trips for our members from places like Vermont, to Costa Rica and all the way to Iceland. Craig and I can not think of a more rewarding, fun, and fitting career for our personalities and passions than to teach yoga, CrossFit, and other styles of fitness to other travelers.

What type of classes do I teach? I have experience teaching a variety of styles to all levels. I enjoy teaching vinyasa yoga, prenatal yoga, power yoga, yoga for beginners, restorative yoga, gentle yoga, wall yoga, alignment yoga, inversions and arm balances, yoga geared towards athletes, and yoga for improved mobility. I am comfortable teaching large groups and private sessions. I feed off of the energy of people that come in to my yoga classes and am thrilled to share my love of yoga to everyone around me... on and off the mat!
