Hi, My name is Iris Lieberman and I love teaching Zumba classes. I have always been very involved in the fitness realm, whether working at a fitness studio, belonging to several gyms/ studios, or simply eager to learn about proper nutrition or any new and upcoming  fitness formats.

SInce I was a young girl, I was never happy with the way I looked, always very self-conscious about my body and did not have the greatest self-esteem. However, after many years of  struggling with over-exercising and other weight-related issues, whether too thin or not healthy, I am finally on a better path to feeling happy, inside and out. I credit this to Zumba, completely!!

 When I took my first Zumba class, I admit,I simply did it for the workout, pushed myself every class, even though i did not think that  I would ever learn the routines. However, it took just 2 classes and I was completely addicted. Zumba allowed me to be "ME," it wasn't just about the workout, it was so much more. I met so many amazing friends, learned from some of the best instructors/mentors, and developed a true passion for wanting others to have the opportunity to experience this happiness through dancing and working out. I began going to classes not just for the workout, but to laugh, smile, and dance with friends, in a no-judgment zone!!

Needless to say I got licensed by Jani Roberts in December 2013 and it was literally the most amazing day of my life, finally pursuing my passion, now able to teach Zumba. Also, I have my  AFAA Group certification, as well as AED/CPR.

As for me, I  may only be 5'3, but  Iam definitely full of energy and my Zumba classes are always a blast with heart-pumping, easy routines to follow; Just  plenty of sweating, booty shaking, and smiling. My music is very diverse including  Latin,Caribbean, and American songs, including Hip-hop,Merengue, Soca,  Reggaeton, and many others. I am very into fitness and make it an everyday priority, not only to maintain my physique, but to relieve my stress!!!!!! I absolutely love being around people and really enjoy  helping people learn about the importance and health benefits of exercise, mentally and physically. So , I tell guys and girls to come try out  one of my classes and experience the excitement for themselves. My belief is it never hurts to try my class  once, but I can  guarantee you will be hooked:-)
