Melanie Miranda

My name is Melanie Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I am currently a senior at the University of Alabama majoring in Theatre. I love to perform and it was no surprise that I fell in love with Zumba.  I have a true passion for working out and being in the best shape possible. I decided to become an instructor to help people be in their best shape and have a great time doing it! I have been a certified zumba instructor for 2 years. I started off teaching family and friends in my basement for about 6 months. I wanted to get my routines down and feel comfortable leading a class. Then, I decided to take it a step further and apply for a job at the University of Alabama Recreational Center. After applying and doing a demo of my zumba class I was hired. I absolutely love to teach Zumba!
