I started my career as a personal trainer with Life Time Fitness in January of 2005. After a year with them the opportunity came about to do personal training on cruise ships. A life dream to travel, work in health and fitness and get paid!!!

I could not pass it up! I trained for 3 months under Steiner Leisure in the UK where I was taught mat Pilates, cycle and yoga formats to teach. They also did a lot of education around toxins in food and environmental that effect the body.

That followed the next incredible 9 month journey of my life working in the Carribean and Alaska as a trainer. My second contract took me to the Mediterranean, where I was even more enthusiatic to experience the culture and history of other areas of the world. After 8 months though it became challenging on myself as a parent to be away from my son (12 at the time) and that far from him. I did return to the states in August of 2007, where Life Time Fitness gladly took me back.

Since my re-hire at Life Time, I have grown beyond all belief in not only my Group Fitness teachings, but as a trainer, coach, psychiatrist, friend, leader and mentor. I currently am responsible in helping clubs grow a program called Metabolics. The metabolic program is responsible for looking at members metabolism and speaking to the areas of stress, nutrition (quality and quantity), sleep (quality and quantity), hormones, and exercise to help everyone acheive their goals. I also have worked with a wide range of people from 8 year old athelets to 70 year old folks that just want to dance with their daughter in her wedding! I am well  veresed in 1 on 1, small group and large group training

I still take an average of 2 cruises a year because of my love to travel and be on ships. It would be a dream to be able to train/teach, travel and get paid again without being gone for months on end. My son is now a senior in High School and is less in need of "mommy"
