Julie has been a dedicated yoga practitioner since 2000. At the start she wanted to create a practice of balance in her fitness life, practicing asanas. She found yoga to be relaxing, spiritual and essential to living a balanced life. Julie began teaching to her peers in 2008, while on a volunteer trip to Africa.
Since then she has gone through the Core Power Yoga, teacher training program. Julie has participated in a number of yoga retreats in San Diego, Phoenix and Gold Lake. One of her favorite types of yoga is partner yoga, to experience new heights in each posture and a sense of connectedness.
Power yoga is unique in that it has an immediate effect on the body as well as the spirit by increasing core strength, relaxation and energizing your body.
