Career Brief
Tara Kelley-Baker is a long-time supporter of fitness and health. She has been practicing yoga for 18 years, serving as the instructor at the Maryland National Park and Planning Community Centers for almost ten years and as a substitute teacher for several instructors at various centers. She is also an avid health researcher. As a research scientist, she recognizes and appreciates the value of preventive care. Professionally, Tara is well experienced in directing research studies and evaluating local programs. Over the years she has been certified to teach various forms of yoga including Level I and II Yoga Fit (beginner and intermediate yoga) and general Hatha yoga. She also has attended seminars at the Satchidananda Ashram. She is seeking a position teaching yoga, which combines her interest in health with her passion for prevention.
