I am a chiropractic physician and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist practicing in Jacksonville Beach, FL. I treat patients in our clinic suffering from a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal complaints, utilizing spinal manipulative therapy, nutritional counseling, physiotherapy modalities, as well as rehabilitation and stability exercises to help patients attain maximal function.
I obtained my BS in Exercise Physiology and a minor in General Business from the University of Florida in 2003. At UF I worked with several chiropractors in the area as a chiropractic assistant applying physiotherapy modalities and working with patients doing rehabilitation exercises.
Through all of my undergraduate and graduate education I've trained many levels of athletes and non-athletes, ranging from college athletes to individuals who had never previously trained. I have trained beginning weight lifters for general fitness and advanced athletes with sport specific methods and functional performance. In 2004 I achieved the title of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, which enabled me to provide clients with a wide variety of training methods based on current fitness literature. I have also worked during the summers as a huddle leader and sport clinic instructor at Fellowship of Christian Athlete Summer Camps with high school athletes from across the country in sports such as basketball, football, and baseball.
My areas of specialty include functional stability training, core training, and general weight training. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and fitness levels, and in the variety of clinical and athletic settings I've worked in I've seen individuals significantly improve their fitness and overall wellness. I look forward to helping people from all backgrounds and walks of life do the same.
