Fitness is my life and I enjoy every moment of it! I have always been active - from starting in gymnastics as a child, to becoming a competitive Irish dancer in my teenage years. I ran cross country and track and field in high school and that is when I knew I didn't ever want a job that involved me sitting in a cubicle. I graduated with a degree in Health Promotion and Fitness and pursued a career in corporate fitness and wellnes with HealthFitness. Over the years, I have progressed to my current role as a Program Manager, overseeing a 500 member fitness center in downtown New York City. I have experince teaching Spinning (indoor cycling), Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, boot camp classes (indoor and outdoor), flexibility and core, beginner's Yoga, and mat Pilates. I love teaching and love being a part of the corporate setting because my classes allow for an escape from the everyday for my participants. I also enjoy one-on-one focused time with my personal training clients to set and achieve goals anywhere from weightloss, to muscle gain or improved fitness levels.
I also love to travel! When I go on vacation I am always looking for active opportunities such as participating in group exercise classes, swimming, hiking, and biking. Having the opportunity to teach classes while away in a new enviroment is perfect for me because of my active lifestyle, outgoing personality, and motivation to spread the love of fitness to everyone.
