Gayle Owens

Hello and thank you for your time. I've been a practicing massage therapist for fourteen years. During that time I've maintained both a private practice as well as ownership of a multi-practitioner entity. I have advanced training that enables me to work safely with clients in any stage of cancer recovery. Those same skills sets enable me to work more effectively with clients suffering from most health challenges. I am a consulting therapist to the University of Tennessee Medical Center's Cancer Institute in Knoxville, TN. I have maintained staff privileges at that facility for ten years and most recently given the task of creating a fully functioning integrative healthcare department completely with massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga and Reiki. Through the years I've worked closely with therapists, family members and my clients educating them in proper, safe and highly effective massage techniques. I've also developed and taught weekend massage and yoga retreats for both healthy couples and those dealing with health challenges. I thoroughly enjoy the education process and take pleasure in making it both fun and informative for the student. 

I blessed to enjoy good health and an established practice that allows me time to get away and take part in new experiences.
