I am a backpacker-at-heart with a career in higher education, and experience in large-scale event planning and outdoor group fitness. I am currently the Program Coordinator for the Counseling and Human Development program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. I am also an MBA candidate in the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. My dynamic skill sets carried me through work and volunteer placements around the globe for five years following my graduation from James Madison University. I have experience in kayak instruction/tour guiding, stand-up paddle board instruction and in hike guiding through Appalachian trails.
My career goals include pairing my love and devotion to people and cultures around the world with my commitment to societal change. My strengths include communication, project management, leadership, event promotion, logistics coordination, educational programming, travel planning, outdoor education and fitness instruction.
