I am Kelsey Saunders and I have been in love with movement and have enjoyed dancing throughout my life. I was a competitive dancer since a young age with various dance teams within Los Angeles. I began to further my training in modern, contemporary, ballet, and jazz dance at California State University of Long Beach and received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with an option in Dance Science. It was in college where I was introduced to Pilates while rehabing a back injury. I was hooked! I then studied Pilates with Karen Clippinger throughout college and reciveved my BASI Pilates Instructor Certification with Dance Specialization. By emphasizing a balanced program of strength and flexibility, I was able to restore proper alignment and train pain free. I continued to dance after college and had the honor of being a three year member of the Los Angeles Laker Girls. I am interested helping others meet their fitness goals so that they feel comfortable within their body because when your body feels good, you do too!
