I started my journey into yoga at 17 and quickly fell in love with the movement and the ability that yoga gave me to get what I needed out of it each and every time I was on my mat. My love for yoga became my passion when I started my yoga teacher training in January 2012. Diving deeper into the practice and the philosophy of yoga made me aware of my life's passion. I am a traditional but also untraditional yoga teacher in the aspect that I love to start my classes with structure but leave plenty of time for playtime portion of the practice. I have practiced many types of yoga and have a great love of them all so, I consider myself a yoga mutt. Started with Ashtanga at 17 then after several years decided I needed something a little different tried Bikram for awhile as well as Hatha and Vinyasa traditions then found my passion lived with Power Vinyasa. I love exploring within the practice of yoga and finding that every practice is different even when the poses are the same. I also love to be outside exploring in nature and spend a good amount of time hiking, canoeing, swimming and playing with my family. I am a wife and mother of 2 amazing kids.
