I have combined a lifetime love of health and fitness and a joy of teaching and found my passion in teaching Pilates. Teaching clients good body mechanics and helping them to apply it to their own bodies to find more efficient and functional movement is a very rewarding career.
I am adept at working with a diverse clientele - all ages and all levels of fitness. I work with trained athletes and also people who are limited by injury or health issues, such as spinal stenosis and osteopenia, so I am proficient at adapting a program and exercises to meet individual needs.
Always striving to learn and improve, I attend workshops and continuing education programs on a regular basis. Most recently, I completed my Level 1 training in The Franklin Method, after an intense 21 day progran in Boulder, CO. My continuing educations credits include, but are not limited to, the following:

I am experienced in Mat and on all Pilates apparatus. In mat classes I am equally experienced in both classical format as well using props such as foam roller, balls, bands and the magic circle and use creativity to keep classes fresh and fun.
