Shannon Doyle

Shannon Elizabeth Doyle BA, M.H.T Pilates Instructor/Hypnotherapist Shannon Doyle has been certified in Pilates Mat from the Physicalmind Institute since September of 2002. Shannon has been teaching at the Optimal Fitness center and Golds Gym ever since. She consistently draws full classes as her students rave about the changes in their posture, decreased back pain and their increase in body awareness. Her open teaching style, warm personality and hands on approach allow her students to feel confident in their abilities. Shannon believes that alignment, core strength and posture are the key factors in developing a strong, healthy body. She also believes that these factors should be the basis for any exercise program and that they contribute tremendously in the development of overall body awareness. Shannon’s philosophy and passion for health & fitness is evident in her presentation, mental and body awareness. Prior to receiving her certification, Shannon mentored for four years with one of the innovative leaders in the fitness field, Brien Shamp. It was this work that taught her the importance of “doing it right” and the necessity of “educating and motivating” the client. Shannon’s background in Spiritual development and Hypnotherapy also allow her to hone into her clients needs both physically and intuitively. Shannon holds a Master in Hypnotherapy and always incorporates meditation into her Pilates program. She feels that physical, spiritual and mental awareness are all part of the same spectrum and compliment each other in a comprehensive model of wellness. Personal Philosophy Shannon is passionate about helping her clients achieve an overall sense of well being in their lives. In working with the body and mind, Shannon believes that everyone has the ability to make positive enduring changes, bringing them to a place of balance and optimal health.
