Greg Haywood

Born in England, lived in Canada most of my life, played professional soccer in Europe in the 1980's and play nationally in my age group for tennis.  I played competitive as a youth and have been a top 15 national player many times in my age group, depending on how often I get to play tournaments. I won the Southern Clay national tourney in the 50's in Jackson Mississippi, in both singles and doubles.  I was a high school teacher in Canada for 13 years prior to dedicating myself full time to tennis coaching and have completed many professional development courses with USTA HP.  I have participated in a visiting teaching pro program every year for several weeks since the early 1990’s and I am very familiar with the role of a visiting pro.  I know Chris Isburg and Zuki Kong very well as I have visited often.
