I started my own training 20 years ago to be able to continue to care for my wife who developed chronic progressive MS. We travelled internationally for the work in which I was engaged at that time. This meant lifting and placing my wife in and out of cars, airplane seats and hotel beds and facilities. I realised that I had to take action with my own health and strength to be able to continue in that work. Soon the passion for health and fitness took over and became a goal in itself. I registered with a personal trainer David Avery and have not looked back. I became certified as a personal trainer in 2008 but didn't really start developing a client roster until 2013 as I was still travelling internationally.
I have had great success as a personal trainer. My clients give me very positive feedback about how they have changed with my coaching and how well I can adapt the exercise to suit their need and situation.
I introduced kettle bell work to a number of clients and run kettle bell classes.
On a very personal level my passion for personal change steered me to the competitive stage. I first competed as a bodybuilder in 2009 and have won many awards. Among them Fame World Super GrandMaster, followed by other fist place spots and in 2013 Silver at INBA Olympia.
