I enjoy teaching yoga, step, kick-boxing, boot camp, hi/lo, muscle conditioning, and dance. I started my fitness career early on at age four when my parents enrolled me in gymnastics class in order to have a more productive means of channeling my hyperactivity. After toiling in the fields of PR and Marketing for years, I decided to make fitness my full-time venture. I possess the following certifications: AFAA primary group exercise, Urban Rebounding, Balletone, YogaFit and AFAA Kick-boxing, and CPR/AED. I also did an ashtanga teacher training with Tim Miller and I like to stay up-to-date on fitness trends by attending numerous classes and workshops, and doing teacher trainings with internationally-known yogis. My favorite thing about teaching is helping members feel positive, healthy, and as passionate about working out as I am. I hold a BA in English and a double minor in Dance and Hispanic Studies from Connecticut College. When not working out or waitressing, I can be found freelance writing (sometimes about fitness!), reading, watching baseball, obsessing over Lost, and eating sushi. I am enthusiastic, hard-working, peppy, and energetic!
