Edo Maimon

I was born in Boston in 1986 and spent my childhood moving back and forth from the USA to Israel. As a teen it was important for me to keep in shape and at the age of 18 I was recruited as a combat soldier to the Israeli militairy. A year later I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma (cancer). This period had a significant affect on my life and after I recovered I began to practice meditation and yoga which greatly improved my overall well being, physically, mentally and spiritually. I delved deep into the physical practice and philosophy and completed two Yoga Teacher Training courses and began to teach. During this time I also worked on luxury yachts, worked as a sailing instructor, completed a bachelors in marine biology and a masters in molecular biology. Currently I work as a yoga instructor and as a science teacher for teens. I plan to study to be a therapist in transpersonal councelling psychology from next year.

I am an American, Israeli and German citizen.
