Introduced to the Joseph Pilates Method as a tool for strengthening her own body after a sports injury, Christine believes, acute body awareness and a deep mind-body connection grants us the ability to tap
Into our bodies restorative potential. In class, she places a strong emphasis on the breath as a key to
mastering the principles of Pilates (concentration, centering, control, precision, fluidity) and for
its ability to energize the body while assisting in the execution of the exercise. Christine focuses
her Pilates teaching on injury prevention, correcting muscular imbalances, and strengthening the
core. She is known for her playful, supportive teaching style and her strong knowledge of
Anatomy and physical alignment. Vivid imagery and regular feedback inspire students to test their
Strengths. Classes are open to practitioners of all levels. Modifications and variations are given to
accommodate and challenge beginner and advanced level students.
