Anissa Charles

I have been working in corporate offices for many years until I realized that I wanted something more. I have been attending yoga classes for some time when I was approached by the instructor who suggested that I become an instructor. I gave it some thought and decided to face my fear of speaking in front of crowds and get that certification. Six years later I am still enjoying every minute of it. Along with yoga, I have started a brand new class called “New Beginnings”. This is geared towards creating some excitement/hype around the fitness classes and engage teammates that might be apprehensive or intimidated, think the classes are too hard, have never really considered taking a class. There has been great feedback and attendance is steadily increasing. My full time job is fine, but instructing is much more rewarding. I plan on doing this for many more years.
