Jeffrey Siegel

After completing an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology from Emory University, I became a Princeton in Asia Fellow and began my teaching career in Malaysia and subsequently Hong Kong. Working as an educator, I refined my understanding of what motivates people to learn and sought to complement my scientific knowledge of human behavior with the experiential wisdom of Eastern contemplative traditions.

I completed a Masters degree in Applied Buddhist Studies at Hong Kong University and integrated spiritual philosophy, especially mindfulness and meditation into my work as a coach and educator. I then moved to Boston to attend Harvard University's Mind, Brain & Education Masters program where I founded JES Wellness to explore the exciting intersection between learning, personal development, physical movement, and health. I now run my own training business, teach group exercise classes, organize outdoor bootcamps, lead meditation seminars and give talks on behavior change and nutrtion.
