Edith Pauley

My name is Edith Katherine Pauley. I have a BA in Latino Studies/American Culture from the University of Michigan, and a MA in Marhematics Education from National Louis University. I have been teaching High School in the city of Chicago Public Schools for 15 years. I have been teaching dance for over 20 years and starting teaching Zumba fitness at all levels from Kids to Seniors for the last 3 and a half years. I have every single specialty license there is for Zumba Fitness. Aqua Zumba, Zumba Step, Zumba Kids Jr., Zumba Kids, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, and Zumba Sentao. I have been teaching Zumba fitness at LA Fitness and community based centers. I teach 8 classes a week and enjoy every minute of it. My classes range from 15-45 students and are often packed with high energy instruction. I go through around 15-18 songs in an hour session with non-stop breaks. Students are allowed to take their own breaks. I continue to take monthy Zumba Jams which are appointed instructors from Zumba fitness to teach instructors new released music and choreography from Zumba Home Office. I also attend the annual Zumba Instructor Conventions which allow me to network with other instructors and be skilled in the techniques of Zumba Fitness.
