A life long student, fitness enthusiast, and runner, I discovered yoga while studying for my Masters degree in Cultural Anthropology at Harvard University in 2003. After a few years of building my practice I enrolled in the 200hr Teacher Training program at YogaWorks NYC in July of 2009. Soon after I began teaching immediately, and have done so continuously ever since. I attended the Long Island Yoga School for 300hr certification in 2011. I am also bilingual (Spanish and English) and have spent an extensive amount of time researching and travelling in Peru. My academic background helps me to adapt quickly to new surroundings, and I love to dive into the culture of any place I'm visiting. I absoutely love the practice of yoga, traveling, studying world cultures and teaching!
