Ismael Blanco

A Las Vegas native "Ish" has been coaching in Los Angeles, California, for the past 15 years. Most recently, has has held the title of "Director of Tennis" at the Cheviot Hills Tennis Center, a 14 court facility near Beverly Hills. While there Ish managed all aspects of the tennis program and was responsible for the hiring and management of a tennis and retail team.

Prior to working for Cheviot Hills, Ish held the title of Head Pro for the Santa Monica Tennis Facility and was an assistant coach for the Santa Monica Women's Tennis team. While there, Ish obtained the highest level of USPTA certification (P-1) at the age of 19. In addition, he obtained both "10 and Under" and "Cardio Tennis" accreditations.

Ish's playing career was equally decorated. As a junior player he was consistently ranked in top 3 of the intermountain Section, which was comprised of Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. Nevada for two years. Subsequently, he played several ITF futures tournaments before heading to Los Angeles in 2010 to continue playing and coaching.
