When I discovered yoga, in early 2010, I did it purely for physical purposes; to strengthen my body. It wasn’t until 2012 that I began to experience much more than the physical benefits of yoga.

Learning to connect body, mind and spirit through the breath, my practice had began to deepen and I developed a sincere love, passion, and appreciation for yoga. My journey brought me to San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua, where I became a 200RYT Certified Yoga Teacher (and Registered with Yoga Alliance in 2014, #138433) under the Yatra Yoga Program at Nica Yoga.

Yoga has opened my heart and soul, teaching me many things; to embrace my spiritual journey and to share compassionately with others. My experience with my practice has ignited the spiritual light within my soul and this light continues within, growing brighter, growing stronger and fueling my desire to learn more about yoga. This desire brought me to Rishikesh, India in March of 2015 where I completed my 500RYT and was Certified through Rishikesh Yog Peeth under the Teachings of Guru Roshan and Krishna Ji Sikhwal.

This has served as an inward journey into my own being, traveling to the depths of my Universe within. I have learned that the healing properties of Yoga are endless. For me, yoga is an opportunity to heighten my awareness and connect to the aliveness and beauty that exists in every aspect of the inner world…and everything, everyone around me. It is deeply healing and it is this that I have the desire to share with others; to teach others how to rediscover their own inner light and love; to teach others how to explore the body, mind, spirit connection, and how to cultivate wellness, build strength & flexibility, open the heart, and develop the awareness to be present where self-exploration and transformation is supported.

In my curiosity of "western yoga practices" I went on to explore, become certified, and teach the following various types of yoga: Ariel Yoga, SunLight Chair Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.

Upon my journey of reaching my E-RYT200/RYT500, I seem to mostly gravitate toward Vinyasa Flow, Slow Yoga, Chair Yoga and Meditation. I also enjoy creating and leading workshops, as well as working with private yoga clients.
