Lisa began practicing Pilates 15 years ago and fell in love with the method. She was most attracted to Joseph Pilates' core beliefs of the mind-body connection obtained through concentration, control, centeredness, fluidity, precision, and breath. These Principles are the heart of the Pilates Method that began as treatment for war veterans an evolved to rehabilitation for dancers and the exercise system it is today.

Lisa continues to study and certify in Pilates modalities for special populations to ensure she is able to assist all her clients to live with their health and movement challenges.

Lisa's love for teaching and her love of the Pilates Method have combined to assist her in Adapting her lessons to fit each individual students abIlity ensuring that they obtain a well-balanced workout appropriate to their current level of fitness: safe, challenging, and always enjoyable.
