Bob Sullivan

Hello, my name is Bob Sullivan. I am 42 years young and live in New Jersey with my wife Denise and our 3 boys age 14, 11 and 2. Tennis has been my life since the age of 12. I played for Upsala College, a division 3 school where we made the final four my Freshman and Sophmore seasons, before playing on the USTA Satellite Circuit in the mid 80's. Experiencing limited success, I fell in love with teaching and have had a successful career as a teaching pro. Currently, I am a club owner and the managing partner of a 12 court indoor facility here where I live. My day if filled mostly with administrative duties, but I still find time to get out and coach the more competitive women's teams and a few tournament level juniors each week. Although I still play competitively, rated now as a 5.0 (getting older you know!), my competitive fire is fueled by running and biking. I have run 7 marathons including this past years Philadelphia Marathon qualifying for Boston. Unfortunately I had to pull out due to an injury but am back to running and will run Boston next year!
