By day, I am a Web Developer that works at a Canadian University. At lunch, and by night, I teach aerobics classes to staff and students at the University. This gives me the opportunity to assist co-workers and other participants with their quests for healthier lives and their needs to reduce everyday stress. By teaching a wide variety of classes, I interact with many groups of people and assist them with their cardio training, muscle conditioning and relaxation.
I graduated with my Computer Science degree and I have been working as a Web Developer for the University since December 2000.
The 'scholar' in me loves to read; science fiction novels and fitness magazines are among my favorites. I also enjoy drawing and painting, photography and scrapbooking; trying to find my creative side.
The active part of me loves to hike, camp, bike, rollerblade, rock climb, run and walk my dog. I have also been horse back riding, sky diving and white water rafting.
I enjoy giving back to my community by participating in fund-raising events. This year's agenda includes a Walk for MS, Dragon Boat races for Breast Cancer, and an 18 hour Relay for Life event to raise money for cancer research.
Life is what you make of it.
