Julie Valenzuela

I received my bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of San Francisco and then, moved to Arizona to pursue my masters from Arizona State University. I received my degree in Exercise and Wellness after completing a masters thesis on older adult strength training. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in various fields of health and fitness including rehabilitation and physical therapy, fitness club management, wellness program coordinating and college level education.

My passion, however, is Pilates. I am a certified Pilates Instructor and also through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist.

On a personal note, I currently live in Phoenix with my husband, two daughters, Sophia, 12, Brielle, 10, and our 6 year old son Alex. Life is pretty busy, but I find time to hike, cook, do yoga and take naps!
