I grew up playing basketball and soccer. I excelled in the game of soccer. I ended up playing on a highly competitive travel soccer team in my youth that went undefeated for three years. I played center midfield, which is known as the on field coach. At the age of 14, I developed a condition in my right knee that required surgery, and kept me from playing competitive sports in high school. When I attended Towson University, the first week I ventured off to check out the school’s weight training facility. The next day I went back and trained with an older an individual that I met from the football team, from that day on I was hooked. Since then, roughly 16 years ago Fitness training has been in my life as much as the air that I breathe. While attending Towson University I took many Kinesiology classes to fulfill my elective credits. At that time I never thought about Fitness being a career path, it was more of a fascinating craving of knowledge. I then became an American Counsel of Exercise certified personal trainer at 22 years of age. I never worked in a normal gym setting; I would just train individuals that friends and family members referred at a small private gym in Towson, MD. After graduating I worked at my family’s car businesses in Maryland and Virginia. Though I did not pursue the Fitness industry as a profession, my education never halted. I furthered my studies at local gyms throughout the DMV. I trained at a high level Crossfit gym in Baltimore, MD and Silver Spring, MD. There I mastered the arts of the kettle bell, and the difficult Olympic lifts. I have studied under Tim Tao, a scholarship colligate wrestler at the University of Maryland, who has trained professional Baseball and Football players. I currently work with Chauncey Brown, who played at the esteem Oak Hill Academy in high school, and played NCAA basketball. He has trained with NBA basketball players such as, Josh Smith and Rajon Rondo. I can truly say that I have participated in or studied countless amounts of training methodologies. I have manipulated my body naturally from a 219lb power lifter, to a 179lb 60 mile a week runner over the years. Unfortunately, my knee issues have never gone away. At this time I have had 4 knee surgeries on my right knee. This has not held me back from keeping my body at 10% body fat at 192lbs, with a resting heart rate of 39 beats per minute. The last couple of years I have continued to further my education, and decided to leave my family business and pursue my true calling in the Fitness Industry.
