Emily Blessing

Emily’s yoga practice began in 2011, with a weekly hatha class at Kansas City Ballet School. Almost immediately, she knew that yoga would always be a part of her life. Today, Emily’s practice consists of Astanga, vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama and meditation. Yoga helps her achieve balance and stability; physically, mentally and emotionally. She intends on continuing to branch out and study with different schools and styles of yoga and hopes to inspire others (especially her friends and family) to cultivate a yoga practice of their own. In the future, she aspires to study ayruveda and continue to develop her meditation practice and study of the Yoga Sutras.

Apart from yoga, Emily enjoys baking and cooking, reading novels and travelling. She has also recently taken up photography and aspires to make her own clothes one day.

Emily completed her 200 hour YTT at OmTree Shala in 2015.
