Namaste. Hi, my name is Mei Lan and I'm a certified Yoga and Fitness Instructor from Toronto, Canada. I have been teaching yoga for the last 6 years and group fitness for over 10 years, part-time.
Though my yoga training has been from a traditional fitness perspective, my interest in ancient eastern philosophies and my background in martial arts has evolved into an eclectic form with a focus on the mind, body and spirit.
For 30 years I had a full-time job as a Mechanical Designer in the fast-paced technical engineering industry and thus I've experienced first-hand the many benefits that yoga and fitness have to offer as a means of stress reduction and for achieving a holistic life-balance.
Now that I'm retired from all that my life is simple.
