About me...
I hail from Bronx, NY my first 18 years, but have lived in VT for 11 years. It's where I became more health conscious and grew a desire to help others become self-realized through body awareness. I have always been active as a dancer, hiker, sailor, bicyclist, mindful foodie, gardener, leather-tanner, world traveler,and tree climber. Integrating myself into fitness in the gym/studio realm came later for me in life. First as a student, then as a teacher. 
 
I offer an accessible/highly adaptable, fun and diverse workout. The foundations of my classes are based in rhythmic choreography, calisthenics, plyometrics. With focused attention on deep abdominal breathing and body consciousness through warm-ups/cool-downs and stretching. Not to mention eclectic and BADASS music!! 
 
Consistent exercise is one of the greatest forms of empowerment, which I believe is important for everyone to experience as they define their lives. The journey is uniquely different for everyone. Whatever one's motivation is, I enjoy being there to assist them. 
 
I countinue to learn something new with every class as teacher but also a student of my participants. The rewards of instructing are limitless. I grow stronger in mind, body and a deepening, keen spirituality.
 
Aspirations...
I'm currently enrolled to complete my Primary Group Fitness Certification. I desire to work with a variety of special populations. My future goals include a 500-hour Yoga Certification based in Ashtanga, Personal Training and Indoor Cycling. Up until now I have built a strong foundation of yoga as a personal practice at home and in class. I'm now prepared to share my yogic discoveries via moving meditation with a focus on self-empowerment. With Personal Training I seek to spend more time building relationships with my participants, in order to help them manifest long-lasting lifestyle changes, based on self-celebration and motivation based on their goals and passions. Indoor Cycling appeals to because I enoying taking people on a voyage that is fun, inspiring, visual, and it is highly accessible to everyone regardless of their exercise history. Finally, I'm preparing to complete my B.A. degree in Dance Education. I enjoy working with beings of all ages and have grown fond of working with young people. I believe it is important to integrate movement into schools, in a way that is not simply a drill-style format but more expressive, fun and again, empowering.
 
I'm excited to join FitBodies and meet new people from around the world. I love what I do AND I love to travel.
