I was exposed to yoga when a fellow athlete recommended it for recovery from a knee injury. I was soon balancing my biking, running, and swimming, with yoga as well. In time, I have improved my skills in each discipline as well as staying mostly injury free. In addition, I benefit from a greater sense of calm, and feel as though I make more thoughtful life decisions from the time invested on my mat.

I received my training through Holy Yoga International and am certified as an H-RYT at the 200 level. I have my ACE group fitness certification, and yogalates specialty certification.

It is my priority to put safety and proper alignment first in the class setting, but to also include elements of creativity and playfulness to enlighten the beginner as well as lighten the spirit of each in attendance. You will hear the phrase "lots of grace" in class often. Whether new to the many styles of yoga or experienced...we all bring something different to the mat every time we practice.
