Lisa Ruby

Hello! I'm Lisa Ruby. My passion of health & fitness stems from my college years when I was attending Bowling Green State University. I remember registering for a course that prepared me for the AFAA primary group fitness instructor certification. I regularly exercised at the recreation center and took classes. I admired the group fitness instructors and knew that it was something I wanted to pursue! After receiving my certification, I began instructing classes at the recreation center before graduation. I become one of those instructors that I looked up to as a class participant, and that felt so accomplishing! Fast forward 7 years, and I am still instructing fitness classes and providing my knowledge to help those meet their health & fitness goals! Teaching group fitness classes to people who have the same passion as myself is a very rewarding experience. Since beginning my fitness instructor journey in college, I have now blossomed into a full-time corporate Exercise Specialist for Progressive Insurance and teach various classes at local studios and facilities. I would love to expand & grow my teaching opportunites and my goal is to create a unique and fun group fitness experience for everyone who joins me!
