Kathryn feeds her soul through movement and through sharing what she has learned with others. From the soccer field, to performing, running a marathon, or on her yoga mat, she feels at ease and peace through movement. The tenacity, strength, patience, and acceptance cultivated on the mat is what keeps her coming back and what helps her to connect yoga to her life off of the mat. Kathryn has completed over 500 hours of training and sees no end to the learning process.
In 2007, she spent a month at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India. In 2011 she completed a 300 hour training in power vinyasa and hot hatha yoga through Hot Yoga for Life. She has taught in different styles over the years but maintains an anatomical approach to teaching. In addition to teaching yoga, Kathryn holds anatomy workshops for movement professionals and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She finds the combination of the two modalities a perfect balance to help her students and clients reach their fitness and pain management goals.
