Beth Bauer

I am an experienced and seasoned RN with a passion for life but comfortable in difficult situations in life. I grew up in a small town, La Crosse,Wi on the banks of the Mississippi river. I have always had a love of water but also the outdoors. As the Norwegians say, "There is no bad weather, just bad clothing". My Mother and Father were passionate about travel and instilled that love in me. They taught me to have a curious eye and mind, be kind, gentle and giving to others but also to  take good care of myself and those around me. I have always loved to exercise and am a skier and mountain bike/road biker. I relocated to Denver, Colorado 6 years ago with the love of my life and have continued to work as an RN but recently bought a home back in Wisconsin on the water. I am looking forward to returning to the Midwest where my roots and family are with my Husband. Yes- We did get married during Covid in an intimate ceremony at a French restaurant back in la Crosse. I received my 200 Hour Teacher Training through Tammy Zee's Yoga Studio and am a 200 Hr RYT through Yoga Alliance.  I also obtained my Phase I Mat Pilates Instructor Certification in April 2015 with Tammy Zee and the AAI/ISMA.

I completed my Masters Path 500hr Yoga Certification through Maitri Yoga where I found a deeper meaning on the philosophy and meditative practice. I feel this has taken me to  a place where I can share it with others, so that they can take their learning into their lives. Despite working Full Time as a RN I was able to teach at Maitri Studio until they sold and closed during Covid. I taught Yin/Yang, Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative yoga.  I also had the privilege of teaching at Front Range Community College where the students were varied in age from 18 up to 65. Some had never gotten onto a mat and it was an honor to introduce them to this practice. I am excited to  be able to be an instructor for Fitbodies and look forward to teaching in new and exciting places!
