Rae has been teaching Spinning since 2008 and absolutely loves it!  From there she became licensed in Zumba with specialties in Aqua Zumba and Zumba Toning.  She taught Zumba for several years and become certified by AFAA in Personal Training and Group Ex in 2011 and continue with that today adding specialties to my repertoire such as Aqua, TRX, and Kettlebell.  It was also in 2011 that she started Cote Fitness LLC which keeps her very busy.

She found the World Spinning and Sports Conference in Miami to be an excellent place to earn CEUs and to learn more modalities.  She has taken several workshops in Pilates, Yoga, Barre (even became certified in Barre but does not currently teach), and Kettlebells (which she is certified).  WSSC is a great place to network and learn!  Several years ago, she became certified in water aerobics though AEA. During the pandemic she scaled back to teaching lower impact modalities such as Spinning, Sculpting, Aqua and the like.  The knowledge she has from teaching and learning several types of fitness classes over the years helps in teaching a great class, no matter the style, and knowledge of the body and helping participants with modifications.

Her professional life is as a scientist with an extremely flexible schedule which allows her to run Cote Fitness and teach and train clients which she enjoys immensely. She has been with the same company for over 18 years and has over 6 weeks of vacation time.  She is well traveled with a frequently used passport.  When she travels, she enjoys taking the variety of classes at any resort she goes to.  The opportunity to teach is quite enjoyable for Rae.  She has a lot of fun with her classes while safely encouraging participants to push themselves.
