Biography

I found yoga 10 years ago, and have been teaching for 8, and full time the last 4 years.  Today my weekly personal routine includes spinning, elliptical work, weight training, TRX, and of course daily yoga. I'm in the best physical, mental, and spiritual condition I have ever been.  

With over 1000 hours of yoga training, my normal week includes teaching 15+ classes - both large and small group  (strong vinyasa/power to gentle/restorative) and private sessions. Twice a year I lead a Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certifying others to teach Hatha Yoga. I also teach TRX, Pilates circuit classes as a sub. I have a home studio, am director of yoga training at The Open Mind Center in Roswell Georgia, and teach at the YMCA and various corporations.

My draw is creating classes for whomever walks in the door:  those looking for a strong yoga practice, athletes needing to balance their sport, those looking for deep tissue release,  anyone new to yoga, or something completely restorative. I keep it fun, challenging those who need more, and offering modifications as needed to help everyone experience yoga in a way that is right for them.  Each class includes pranayama (breathing techniques) to bring relaxation and calm to whatever practice you've picked.  I can help anyone can find a yoga practice that works for them.
