Originally just a fitness enthusiast, I was asked by Group Exercise coordinator at my local gym to think about getting certified to teach. I took her advice and have been teaching Group Ex classes ever since. I now teach 6 classes per week (TurboKick, PiYo, Muscle Works, and Kettlebell AMPD) at Club Fitness, in Missouri, and enjoy taking all sorts of other classes, including Zumba, Cardio Mix, Drills, and Step. I have quite a loyal following for my classes, and many of my students have become my great friends. My business partner and I run bootcamps regularly, as well, and teach HIIT/Tabata Drills for these camps. I am also a full time high school French teacher, and enjoy traveling during the summers to Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean with my British husband.
