- Linda Ross
Linda Ross, Ph.D. brings a lifetime of competitive athletics and fitness instruction experience to her programming, plus an academic background in psychology and kinesiology. It is this unique background that led to the development of her comprehensive, holistic fitness and athletic training programs. Linda has a doctoral degree in psychology from West Virginia University and an M.S. degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), the Canadian Association for Fitness Professionals (Can-Fit-Pro) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Linda also is a professional member of the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology (AAASP). In addition to her consulting work with athletes and teams, Linda is adjunct faculty in the Fitness Trainer Program at Ashmead College. As time permits, she teaches classes in nutrition, anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, fitness assessment, fitness programming, group exercise instruction and health and wellness management. A highly successful athlete in several sports, including two Golden Gloves champion boxing titles, Linda now fuels her competitive spirit as an adult-level competitive figure skater registered with the USFSA.
