Jackie Kaminski's background as a professional fitness consultant and teacher for over twenty years provided her with the insight and inspiration to bring yoga based wellness programs to a broad audience. Her career in fitness began in New York where she was the district training director for a national chain of health clubs. Jackie has led exercise classes in gyms throughout Europe and Southern California. The depth of her experience includes designing exercise programs for a juvenile detention center as well as large corporations. She designed and implemented an exercise, wellness, and yoga program for corporate employees at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and, the Southern California Gas Company in Los Angeles. She was the Southern California Regional Instructor Coordinator for "Silver Sneakers" an exercise program offered by Blue Shield for their 65+ HMO members. Jackie started a yoga company that implemented "studio quality" yoga classes for twenty-six Bally Total Fitness gyms across Southern California. She also designed, created and taught a total of six seventy-two hour comprehensive teacher training programs for Bally Total Fitness yoga teachers that were accredited by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She was a National Presenter for the Practical Yoga Instructor Training Workshop offered by AFAA in 2005 and 2006. Jackie implemented a yoga program for six elementary schools in the City of Santa Monica for their after school enrichment program CREST. She then opened a studio location in Santa Monica that offered community based yoga classes. Jackie has trained with renowned exercise experts, yoga masters and studied Anatomy and Physiology at U.C.L.A.
