I have nearly two years of experience teaching Yoga and bring to the table over seven years of personal Yoga practice. I am able to offer clients a diverse array of classes including: Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Heated Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Beginners Yoga and Pilates-Yoga Fusion classes. In addition to my RYT 200 hour, I am a certified Pilates instuctor and working on completing a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. A barre certification is next on the list! My style of teaching incorporates the philosophy of Yoga into exercise classes that are thoroughly prepared, yet adaptable enough to meet the needs of present students. Additionally, I incorporate my knowledge and interest of how the human body moves to instruct effective, clear and safe alignment cues. As an instructor I am able to attend to the group as a whole while simultaneously paying attention to the needs of each individual in the class. I seek to meet each person where they are at; teaching in a way where people are working to the best of their abilities. I have a genuine interest in my Yoga students leaving my classes feeling better both mentally and physically. I feel that my diverse experience in both my personal fitness journey, along with academically allows me to leave students feeling not only rejuvinated, but also like they have learned about themselves and their Yoga practice. Yoga and fitness in general has had such a positive impact on my life. I have made it my life goal to share this gift with others. I aim to show students that they are limitless both on and off their mats. I truly believe that movement is such a gift and through movement we can experience feelings of joy and personal freedom.
