I began my fitness journey about 7 years ago.  I have always been a fitness enthusiast, but not well trained in how, why and what to do to stay healthy.  After I had my boys, I decided it was time to take back the control of a healthy lifesyle.  I was overweight and unhappy.  I began running and weight fell off quickly.  From there I wanted to mix things up and began kickboxing and indoor cycling.  I fell in love with both!  The Y brought me onboard as a fitness instructor for my energy, outgoing personality and ability to motivate others.  I began as an indoor cycling instructor almost 3 years ago.  In addition, I am qualified to teach TRX.  I also teach cardio kickboxing and full body sculpt.  I sub for core pilates and other various classes when needed.  I am looking forward to bringing the fun of fitness to others while they are enjoying beatiful destinations!
