I began practicing yoga at a young age, and after completing two years of college, I decided it was time to become a certified instructor. I traveled to Costa Rica in the summer of 2015 to attend a 4 week immersion program through RYS Passion Yoga School. The training was vigorous and so beneficial. I graduated from Passion Yoga School and returned back to the States. I taught my first yoga class the week of my arrival home, and have been teaching since. My first class was taught at Muskegon Yoga Center. I taught a few classes from July 2015 to August 2015. In September, I moved to East Lansing, Michigan to pursue a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sustainability and minor in sustainable agriculture. I got a job teaching classes through the university, and continued to teach until my graduation in May 2017. Following college I have been teaching on and off in Michigan and currently, Tacoma, WA at Tuladhara Yoga. I work full time as a sustainability consultant.
