I grew up playing multiple sports and staying very involved in winter activites in the Pacific Northwest. I played tennis throughout high school competing at the state level. I begain my coaching career while in college working at the Ashland TEnins and Fitness Club in southern Oregon starting in 2012. Where there I was responsable for developing a junior tennis program and helped run a variety of adult classes such as Cardio Tennis. While there, I trained under multiple certified professionals who helped me to become a USPTA professional, which I obtained later that year upon graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology.

Following my college graduation in 2013, I secured a teaching position at the Bainbridge Athletic Club, on Bainbridge Island, WA. While there I worked with the head Professional running clinics, teaching private lessons and selling merchandise from the pro shop to the membership.

Soon after, I was given the title of Head Professional at the St. John's Racquet Club in Portland, Oregon and was soon promoted to the title of Facility manager. In addition to on court teaching responsibilities, I managed a staff of 10 people that included tennis professionals and administrative workers. He also helped lead a maketing effort to promote both the nonprofit sector (Portland Tennis and Education) and the SJRC branch of the club. During my time there, I was able to utulize a grant from the USTA Foundation to help provide at-risk kids in the area a safe place to learn and grow as student athletes. Diring that time we were consistanlty ranked as a top ten NJTL in the coutry.

In 2016 I accepted an invitation to be the winter seasonal professional at The Valley Club, in Sun Valley, ID. I spent Ocotober 2016-May 2017 there teaching along side the tennis director in clinics, mixers, and private lessons. While there I took on some personal training hours in the gym incliding spin instructor. I soon began teachng lesson on the Platform tennis court, instructing beginiers and intermediate players in the game of Paddle Tennis. A very popular game on the east coast we had the only court in all of Idaho.

As a player, I spent two years playing for Santa Rosa Junior College, a perennial top performer in the state of California. During my time there our team reached the #2 ranking in northern CA and #6 in the State. Eventually i transfered to finish my degree at Southern Oregon University. I have taken the skills and knowlege from my degree to the tennis court to implament fitness, physiology and recovery into my lessons and clinics.

In addition to teaching tennis, I own a woodworking company back in Central Oregon. I love spending time with my dog and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. I am an avid mountain biker, rock climber, and backpacker.
