- Jen Newell is the Mccrory YMCA Group Fitness Coordinator. Jen graduated from UNCC with degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She also received her MBA from Pfeiffer college in Charlotte. Jen spent 10 years as a Charlotte Police Officer and resigned shortly after becoming a Mommy. She has been teaching fitness classes since 2004. Her fitness certifications include IFTA, AFFA, TRX, Tabata, Defend, Core, Aqua, personal training and she has her RYI-200. She is passionate about enhancing the quality of lives she encounters through fitness and health. Jen is known for her loud, fun and energetic classes. Jen resides in the City of Concord with her Husband and 2 children.
