I started traveling on my own at a young age, I moved to Costa Rica at 17 and I think that is where it all began for me. I have always loved to explore and see something new, meeting all kinds of people and learning about different cultures. Through my life I had always tried to pick up skills and knowledge that I could use while traveling so if i decided I liked a place I could stay there and work. That is why I have earned my TESOL certification so I can teach English, my 200 hour Yoga Certification so I can guide Yoga classes, and I also make Jewelry. With these Skills I am able to travel, create my own schedule and be able to make a living anywhere I go. I live in Hawaii, the Big Island. I was Born in Minnesota but it got way to cold for me so in my 20's I moved to Hawaii for college and have been here ever since. I have worked in the Hospitality business for the majority of my time in Hawaii. I have an understanding of what high-end resort guest expect from their stay and I think this will be valuable in traveling and teaching yoga in these resorts. I have been teaching Yoga for about 3 years now and I Love it. I teach Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin, restorative and occasionally I teach SUP yoga. I quit my full time job and started on this path and I am so glad I did. I rent my own little studio at the Shops at mauna Lani (a resort area of the Big island) and also teach in my home town of Hawi, North Kohala. After receiving my 200 RYT thru Yoga Alliance I went on to get more training in Power vinyasa as well as Kids Yoga.
