Jeff Shiebler Bio

Jeff has worked as a certified ocean lifeguard with the New York State Park System at Robert Moses on Long Island since 1988.  Retiring from a 30-yr career as a physical education teacher, he presently coaches for the Connetquot Central School District.  Jeff began practicing Bikram and vinyasa yoga in 2011 and in an effort to strengthen his ability to share this knowledge with others he completed a yoga teaching certification training through the Always-At-Aum Yoga School in 2016.  He has presented yoga sessions at the Suffolk Zone Physical Education Conference to educate others on how to incorporate yoga tools and techniques into the PE classroom.  Jeff has taught several private lessons to friends and colleagues and looks forward to sharing more of these practices with his athletes and the teams he coaches.
